Don't Miss Your DBPR Renewal Expiration Deadline!

All persons holding active or inactive licenses as brokers or sales associates must satisfactorily complete a minimum of 14 hours of instruction during each license renewal period, March 31 or Sept. 30 of a given year (excluding the first renewal period of their current license, which requires post-licensing education). To renew your license, you must do two things: (1) complete a state-licensed 14-Hour Continuing Education Course like ours and (2) pay your license renewal fee to Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). Both of these things MUST be done prior to your license's expiration date.

We're proud to be your partner in renewal!

Florida's " 14-Hour Post-Licensing Course " Requirement

Our state-licensed, 14-hour Continuing Education course fulfills the Florida Real Estate License Renewal requirement for Continuing Education for a given renewal period: This course contains the DBPR-required 3 hours of Core Law, 3 hours of Ethics and Business Practices and 8 hours of specialty education . After passing our course's final exam, you have met the state's requirement. There is no state exam needed to renew. Our course follows the state's syllabus and guidelines and is licensed by the DBPR.

Our course's "final exam" is shorter than what you took for your pre-license and post-licensing courses. This exam is only 30 questions in length. However, we provide plenty of practice and other study supplements to ensure your success. All online real estate courses for the State of Florida must be designed and approved based on a state-prescribedoutline and syllabus of topics to be covered.

To get a better idea of these topics, view this course's outline and learning objectives. This course contains 8 click-through lessons for you to complete at your own pace. A learning lesson contains anywhere from 15 to 40 click-through slides. Check out ourcourse preview.

Your Goal in this 14-HR Continuing Education Course

You are required to click through each lesson. After doing such, we post a number of study supplements for you to take advantage of. For no additional charge, we provide these supplements to support your success. Once you have studied enough to consistently complete practices, then you simply proceed to complete the end-of-course final exam.

The objective of the end-of-course examination is to test fairly and reliably whether students have learned essential facts and concepts from the course. This exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions with four answer choices each, and you must answer at least 24 (80%) correctly to pass.

Students failing the course examination must repeat the course of study prior to being eligible to retake the course examination. Upon passing the course exam, we will electronically report your completion to the DBPR and email you an electronic completion certificate and instructions on how to pay the DBPR their fee for renewal, if you have not already paid it.

Textbook

No text book is provided with this course. However, we do provide plenty of online material with the course. Additionally, we also note that students find it beneficial to reference an authoritative textbook as a supplement to the course. Our course supports all editions of the authoritative Dearborn publisher's Florida real estate series of textbooks. Students are welcome to use such textbooks and versions in their possession; however, we cannot verify whether the version used will contain the most up to date information on Florida law. Florida Statutes are also a great source for the latest on real estate laws. Please take into account any shipping times given your renewal date and when you must complete our course by in order to prevent your license from expiring.
